The Studio is not as dark sounding as the Olds Recording or as bright as the Super making it a great all round cornet and perfect for all styles of music from classical to jazz. ![]() These early Studio models had a silver end to the bell flair, which looks fantastic and gives the horn a rich tone. Lightning-fast valve action, medium large bore, third valve slide intonation adjustment, nickel-silver bell flare created by spinning the metal for strength and brilliance, nickel-silver valve balusters and trim. Distinctive bracing and styling details show Olds craftsmanship at it’s best.
